Warning against Karat Forsikringsagentur ApS

The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority has become aware that Karat Insurance Agency ApS mediates a foreign insurance company’s products without being registered as an insurance agent for the insurance company.

Karat Insurance Agency ApS is not registered in the DFSA’s register of insurance intermediaries and is not supervised by the DFSA.

Companies which are registered as insurance agents for foreign insurance companies, not having a branch in Denmark, can be found on the DFSA’s website (only in Danish).
